The Journal was first published in 2021 and regularly published twice per year in June and December. Journal of Learning and Character Education (JLCEdu) serves as a medium of communication used by researchers, lecturers, teachers, practitioners, and university students for submitting the results of studies and prioritized research in the fields of learning, pedagogy, and character education, which include: the development of evaluation instruments for character and learning, the development of values-infused instructional media, and the development of character-based learning models.
Starting in 2026, the journal will be published four times annually, with issues released in March, June, September, and December.
