PENGARUH MANAJEMEN PARENTING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BAHASA SISWA DI PAUD TERPADU MAKMUR JAYA

Abstrak
Education serves as the main foundation for developing high-quality and competitive human resources. Early Childhood Education (ECE) aims to stimulate the development of children aged 0-8 years through various activities that foster their potential. Teachers play a crucial role in guiding and supporting children, while appropriate parenting management—free from violence and coercion greatly influences a child’s developmental achievements, especially in language ability. This study aims to determine the effect of parenting management on students’ language skills at PAUD Terpadu Makmur Jaya. The research employed a quantitative approach using questionnaires, tests, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings revealed a significant positive relationship between parenting management and children’s language abilities, with parenting management contributing 62.1% to language development, while the remaining 37.9% is influenced by other factors. The statistical test results show that the calculated t-value (6.531) exceeds the table t-value (2.055), indicating that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that effective parenting management significantly influences the language skills of students at PAUD Terpadu Makmur Jaya.
